Hi ladies! So excited to be back posting some stuff I have been wanting to do for a couple of weeks now. The first one is really appropriate for the season pink nails for Wednesday and also my first Valentine's mani. I can't really take credit for this design I saw a picture of it somewhere (wish I remembered to give the proper reference) and I wanted to try. For base color I used OPI Bubble Bath and for the stamping I used China Glaze Sugar High, Make Some Noise and Red Angel Plate RA-113 To achieve this look all you have to do is use 2 different tone polishes and the same stamp in different directions to make sure the spots do not overlap each other.
What do you think? Do you like camo nails? Hi! I'm so happy to have a post for pink Wednesdays again. Today I am wearing China Glaze Empowerment which is one of their Breast Cancer Awareness polishes and it's a cause close to my heart since my aunt was diagnosed with this disease at the beginning of the year. (She's doing great BTW) But since the color is just a regular pink I added a couple of coats of China Glaze Don't Touch My Tiara and voila! I'm in love with how it looks, I wish it was sunny outside to take better pics of it. What do you guys think?
Hello! I haven't been posting as much as I would like but it's been a though week and I've been feeling pretty down. It's hard to find inspiration for nail art on times like this. Today I painted my nails pink since it is Wednesday and I used a light pink with a hint of lavender from a Brazilian nail polish brand called Colorama, the name of the polish is Amanhecer. It is a really common brand where I live, you can find it in all supermarkets and it costs around $2. The application was really smooth and no streaky at all, I used 3 coats because my nails are really stained. I added two snow flake stamps, one blue with China Glaze First Mate and a darker pink one with Color Club Gimme a Grape Big Kiss and konad's M 59 plate. Also, in the middle there's a white decoration that I stamped with the BM02 plate. I have a few swatches to post also, but I'm going to include them in a different post.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your week. A- Hello! I'm really excited for today's post cause I knew days ago what color I was going to use for my post today, it's called Pink Lady (like the title) from Kleancolor. This is a Barbie hot pink with silver shimmer on it and I'm in love with it. I painted my ring finger white and added the flowery stamp on the Bundle Monster plate BM12 with a couple of Color Club polishes, more specifically: All about Town and Yum Gum. If you want to join us in our pink Wednesdays just click on the pic on the right.
A- Hello pretty people! Another pink Wednesday and I was really happy to try my new China Glaze Pink Voltage polish that I bought just for the occasion. It is a neon hot pink with an extremely subtle shimmer and a matte finish; I used 3 coats just because and I'm totally in love with it. <3 I added a lollipop stamp to my ring finger and a couple of cupcakes to my thumb with Konad's M14 and the rest of my fingers received the glitter treatment with this Adoro glitter I picked up today. If you like pink nail polish make sure to check out the other blogs from all the ladies who joined On Wednesdays We Were Pink here.
A- Today is another pink Wednesday and I wanted to put something simple yet sparkly on my nails. After my trip to the volcano on Sunday I got sick again and all I want to do is sleep all day (which I can't) and it was a perfect occasion for a "pick me up" color. I put on China Glaze Pom Pom which is a jelly with small sized and medium hexagon silver glitter and after I painted my nails I realized it is more of a magenta but I'll let it pass this time. Shh!! I also took a close up picture of the bottle so you can see the amazing glitter this polish packs. Sadly the sun was already gone otherwise I would have taken the pic outside. Today I was working on something really fun all afternoon and hopefully I'll be able to post it tomorrow. ( If you follow me on twitter you might know what it is)
Later! A- |
